Thank you for stopping by to learn about Next Move! My name is Jordan Stuart, Founder and CEO, and please allow me to introduce our collaborative team of established real estate professionals. Each member is purposeful in his or her dedication to come from value and be of service to the private client community that we support within the sports and entertainment industry.
The vision of Next Move was conceptualized in 2017 when I maintained a small, niche portfolio of sports and entertainment clients residing in the Washington, D.C.-area in need of safe, comfortable and flexible housing for anticipated stays of six months to three (plus) years. Time spent in a specific market is contract-based for professional athletes, and can often change at a moment’s notice (e.g. overnight). It quickly became apparent that my professional role would extend above and beyond the activities of the traditional real estate agent, serving as a trusted and reliable local consultant starting with the first communication until after the client leaves the area.
Pretty soon I was developing relationships with not only the client directly, but also with the client’s inner-circle sphere including immediate family members, business managers, sports and talent agents, and financial advisors who relied on my boots-on-the-ground expertise. I established myself to provide guidance not only on local areas and options to live but also to work with the client’s advisory team on the common pros and cons of “rent vs. buy” based on the client’s wants and needs. This led to opportunities to refer “somebody that does what you do” in a city outside of Washington, D.C. rather than the client flying blind into various housing markets where his or her best interests may not be considered.
And thus, Next Move was born.

Realtor Members within our network have been vetted based on experience and cultural fit, with selection to Next Move based on attributes of a person or team that the “Next Move” brand proudly supports and also can hold accountable to ensure the highest level of customer service.
As we begin 2021, Next Move offers real estate and housing coverage in over 100 markets across the United States, Canada, and Europe. I can confidently share Next Move’s offerings to meet the unique needs of a robust client base who expect to work with the best.
